Standing Rules

1. In the event of the death of a member or member's spouse, a $25 memorial shall be contributed to a charity of member's choice.

2. a. Reservations for regular monthly meetings are automatically made for members.

2. b. In order to make a reservation for a guest or cancel a reservation, member shall call reservation or cancellation on Sunday prior to meeting.

2. c. Member responsible for the program shall make a reservation for the speaker when appropriate.

3. All social functions shall be self-supporting.

4. With Board approval and money available in the Budget, entertainment costs at Social Functions shall be funded.

5. Speakers for regular meetings shall be given a gift of an engraved paperweight.

6. The First Vice President shall be notified of illness of members and send appropriate card (budgeted item).

7. The May meeting will include an installation ceremony for the new members. A new member orientation coffee will be held in October. The orientation shall be a review of: the Bylaws, the Standing Rules, the Departments, Tallulah Falls School.

8. Information packets for new members shall include a copy of the Bylaws, Standing Rules, Tallulah Falls School and a brief description of the Departments.
